The introductory questionnaire is the beginning of a process to discover if you may have a monastic vocation. Before you begin, here are some things to consider:
- This process will take a substantial amount of time.
- You don’t have to be a member of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA) to start this process. However, to be admitted to the Order you will need to be a member of the ACSA, or of another denomination that is in communion with the ACSA.
- While you don’t have to be a South African to start the process, you will need to have appropriate resident status in South Africa in order to be admitted to the Priory.
Some basic requirements
- You should be between 25 and 45 of age
- You should be male, single and have no dependent children
- You should be free of debt (except educational debt).
